Victoria Josephine (Domingo) Kreisher, 71

PIPERSVILLE, PA - Victoria Josephine (Domingo) Kreisher, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009, in her daughter and son-in-laws home. She battled with congestive heart failure and emphysema. She was 71. Victoria known by all as "Big Vicky" was born to Louise Mae Sickler Domingo Gacad and Victoriano Domingo on March 8 1938. She married William Harris Kreisher on Oct. 27, 1956 and they celebrated 50 wonderful years of marriage, till his passing on May 26, 2007. They lived in Pennsylvania most of their lives but retired in Houston. After the passing of her beloved husband she then moved back Pennsylvania to live with her daughter and son-in-law. She loved to crochet, sew, plant flowers, and go boating and fishing with her husband and grandson, she even took her great-grandson to the old fishing spots she and her husband when to. She belonged to the Harrington Senior Center of Harrington, and when she lived in Pennsylvania she was a member of the Ottsville Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary and the Bucks County Senior Center. She attended Our Lady of Mt Carmel, St. John the Baptist and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louise and Victoriano Domingo; her step-father, James Gacad; her brother, Victor A. Domingo; her half brothers, Victor J. Domingo, Joseph M Domingo, and Raymond Nealis; and her half sister, Joan Louise Madison. She survived by her loving daughters, Victoria F. Kreisher/Edwards and her husband Kurt W. Edwards, and Marcella Joan Kreisher/Kachnycz; son, William Harris Kreisher; seven grandchildren, Sgt. Ryan William Snyder, Jennifer Elise Kreisher, Justin Allen Kreisher, Evan Harris Kreisher, Carly Rose Kachnycz, Cassuadra Rae Kachnycz, and Richard March Kachnycz; great-grandson, Cody William Snyder; her two half brothers, James and Harry Gacad; and by many nieces and nephews. Her wishes were not to have formal viewing, so we wish to have memorial picnic in her honor and her husband, and all those whom have gone to rest. Relatives and friends are welcome to come and celebrate their life at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 20 at the home of Vicky and Kurt Edwards, Plumsteadville, Pa. There will be a private family burial. Arrangements are by Shelly Funeral Home, Plumsteadville, Pa.
