Valerie Gay Pickens

HOUSTON - Valerie Gay Pickens passed away Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 at Kent General Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center.
Valerie was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Charles and Elmon (Willey) Taylor.
Valerie enjoyed crocheting and doing cross stitching. Most important, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David E. Morris; and a brother, Darrell Taylor.
She is survived by one son, James C. Morris; two grandchildren, Richard Morris and Amber Morris; and 3 brothers, Greg Taylor, Stanley Taylor and Ralph Taylor.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
