Ulysses Grant Lynn 'Peanut' Kichline, 97
DOVER - Ulysses Grant Lynn "Peanut" Kichline of Dover passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007, at Montgomery Regional Hospital, Blacksburg, Va. He was 97.
He was born Oct. 10, 1910, in Dover, to the late William and Kate Kichline.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Dover.
Peanut was the parts manager for Holden Dodge in Dover for many years.
He enjoyed his photography and showing it and being with people at the Dover Modern Maturity Center.
He was a World War II veteran.
He is survived by a daughter and her husband, Carol Ann and Ray Howell of Newport, Va.; a daughter, Catherine Rae Hudson of Hartly; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and his friends, Conny and Rodney Hudson.
Remembrance services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Trader Funeral Home, Dover, where friends may call one hour prior.
Burial will be at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
