CAMDEN - Thomas Wayne Gedney passed away peacefully in his home, Thursday, June 17, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.
Tom was born February 17, 1957, in Wilmington, Del. to the late Wallace and Carolyn (Hallahan) Gedney. He had worked as a landscaper for many years, and in his free time enjoyed woodworking, working in his yard, attending auctions, and spending time with his family and friends.
Tom is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lajuana (Grant) Gedney; two children, Matt Gedney and wife, Heide, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Katie Caplinger and husband, Gary, of Magnolia; grandchildren, Gavin Caplinger, of Magnolia, Maddie, Lucy, and Penny Gedney, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; two brothers, Steve Gedney and wife, Teresa and Robert Gedney and wife, Lynn; and two sisters, Patricia Braun and husband, David, and Joanne Gedney, all of Camden.
Funeral Services will be held 11am, Wednesday, June 23, 2021, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, Del.; where family and friends may gather one hour before. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
