Theresa Ann Kubiak

CLAYMONT - Theresa Ann Kubiak passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Christiana Hospital, Christiana.
Theresa was born on Sept. 25, 1960, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, the daughter of Hobert Milam and the late Donna Fay Truitt Milam.
Everyone called her Terry. She enjoyed being Little Miss Seaford in 1964. Terry grew up in Georgetown and was a graduate of Sussex Central High School. While in school she was an honor roll student, band member, cheer leader and received a scholarship to Goldey Beacon College.
She was employed by E. I. DuPont in Wilmington for 23 years. After a career at DuPont she went to work for the Brandywine School District in Claymont for the past 11 years.
She enjoyed going to Philadelphia Eagles football games with her four sons, her whole family were Eagles fans. She also enjoyed watching the Penn State Nitty Lions, where her two youngest sons graduated from college. Terry's other hobbies were going down state to the beaches, camping, gardening, state fair, cooking and all the holidays. She also enjoyed shopping at the Rehoboth outlets.
Theresa is survived by her first husband, Thomas Bonnes; two sons, Thomas Bonnes and his wife, Kelley and Matthew Bonnes and his fiancée, Victoria; her second husband, Greg Kubiak and their two sons, Alexander Kubiak and Daniel Kubiak and his companion, Kaleigh. She also leaves behind a brother, Michael Milam; her father, Hobert Milam; and her companion of the last 16 years, Kevin Meck.
From Theresa: to all of my other family members and friends, "I love you and goodbye for now".
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Christ Evangelistic Church, 9802 Camp Rd, Laurel, where friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
