Theda L. Biggs, 86 MILFORD - Theda L. Biggs, 86, of Milford, died Sunday, May 2, 2010, at Courtland Manor, Dover. She was born in Canterbury, daughter of the late Howard Milby and Emma Steward- Milby. She was a homemaker and moved to Delaware in 1942 from Easton and became very active in her church, The Milford Church of God, and was a Sunday School Teacher and taught vacation bible school for over 20 years. She volunteered at Milford Manor, Milford Cheers Center and Slaughter Neck Sr. Center. She loved to cook and everyone enjoyed coming over for family meals. She also loved crocheting and working in the flower garden. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Walter D. Biggs; three brothers, Frederick, Alvin and Steward Milby; and two sisters, Ruth Metheny and Midia Campbell Woley; and great-granddaughter, Bethany Ann Wright; and granddaughter, Sherri Lynn Taylor. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn B. Mills and her companion Robert Warren, Jr. and Barbara Taylor and her husband Donald both of Milford; three grandchildren, Danny Warren and wife Connie, Henry Warren, Robert Warren and Christine; five great-grandchildren, Bryce, Shannon, Robby, Kaitlin and Megan Warren. Funeral services were 1 p.m., Friday, May 7, in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford. Interment was in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
