Dover - Terri Lynn Hopkins went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 24, 2016. Terri had worked as a school bus driver, and dispatcher. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very family oriented person, and enjoyed family outings. Terry liked camping, and making bon fires, watching Game Show Network, shopping, playing the slots , eating Maryland crabs, and watching her beloved Eagles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia(Stewart) Hopkins; her step-mother, Jean Hopkins; and a granddaughter, Aubri Thompson. Terri is survived by her companion of 32 years, George Joshua Thompson, Jr.; their children, George J. Thompson, III and Anya Thompson, both of Dover; a sister, Traci Lyn Hopkins, of Harrington; her father, Howard "Buster" Hopkins, of Harrington; a step-sister, Margaret Butler, of Andrewsville; four grandchildren, Rashad, Karson, & Ayuri Thompson and DeAndre Hudson, Jr.; as well as several nieces & nephews. Funeral Services will be held 6 pm, Monday, February 1, 2016 , in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE; where family and friends may view from 5 to 6 pm. In lieu of flowers,contributions may be made to The Cancer Center at Bayhealth/Kent General Hospital, 640 South State St., Dover, DE 19901. Condolences may be sent via: www.pippinfuneralhome.com
