Mrs. Teresa Foreman, daughter of the late James L. Beckett, Sr. and Berdie Beckett, was born on September 19, 1963 in Laurel, Delaware. She attended the public schools of Laurel, Delaware and was a graduate of Laurel Senior High School. At an early age she professed her faith in Jesus Christ. She joined Salisbury Evangelistic Church of Deliverance where she was a dedicated member and she served faithfully by the side of her pastor, Apostle Margaret Johnson.
She was united in holy matrimony to Wardell Edward Foreman on December 7, 1985. They shared 36 loving years of marriage and partnership.
As a result of her loving spirit and generous personality, she was loved by many and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She quietly departed this life on Saturday, January 1, 2022 in Westover, Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Berdie Beckett; father, James L. Beckett, Sr.; mother-in-law, Helen Foreman; and brother-in-law, Samuel Foreman.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Wardell Edward Foreman; son, Damion Jermaine Beckett; daughter-in-law, Dr. Tameca Beckett; granddaughters, Elisha Jewell, Izaiah Beckett, and Mycah Beckett; siblings, William Chase of Delaware, Dinah and Clifton Hotten of Virginia, Kenneth and Jackie Chase of Delaware, Roseine Kellam of Delaware, Audrey Beckett of Virginia, Gwendolyn and David Radtke of Florida, Barbara Jean Andrews of Delaware, Sabrina and James Sells of Delaware, Delisa Fryer of Pennsylvania, Penelope and John Harris of Delaware, Leslie Evans of West Virginia, and James and Denetra Beckett Jr. of Delaware; sister-in-law, Lillian Foreman of Maryland; aunts, Geraldine Horsey of Delaware, Virginia Foreman of Maryland, Iona Foreman of Maryland, Naomi Ellison of Maryland, Gladys Hargis of Maryland, and Mildred Foreman of Maryland; a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Framptom Funeral Home, 16 West Market Street, Greenwood, Delaware. Pastor Yavanda Brown will officiate a private memorial service.
