Sylvia Skyinskus

DOVER - Sylvia Skyinskus died Sunday Feb. 10, 2013, at Pinnacle Rehabilitation and Health Center, Smyrna. Ms. Skyinskus was born June 22, 1945 in Plainfield, N.J. to the late Frank J. Skyinskus and Eleanor Matiskella Skyinskus. She worked for 34 years at 3M as a Computer Technician. Ms. Skyinskus loved animals especially cats. She also enjoyed horses and watching the Kentucky Derby, listening to Jazz music, and reading. Ms. Skyinskus is survived by her brothers, William Skye and his wife Lucy of Carthage, N.Y., Frank Skye and his wife Florence of Bonaire, Ga.; sister, Joyce Langbeen and her husband Robert of Graham, N.C.; nieces, Winna Johnson, Rebecca Langbeen, Nancy Skye, Barbara Siegel, Debbie Murray; nephews, William C. Skye, Robert Skye, Scott Langbeen; great nephews, Marques and Devin Johnson, Tyler and Dylan Skye, Noel Murray, Luke and Alec Langbeen. Memorial services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday April 6, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Letters of condolence may be sent and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
