Sylvia Joann Harris, 42
FELTON - Sylvia Joann Harris, of Felton, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. She was 42.
Sylvia was born on May 29, 1965, in Milford.
She graduated from Lake Forest High School.
Sylvia was a member of Landmark Baptist Church in Milton, and enjoyed participating in other family churches.
Her hobbies included bowling, traveling, fashion dressing, laughing and being with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Harris; two brothers, Stonewall Sample and Little Lester Harris; and three sisters, Evelyn Nelson, Helen Harris and Shelia Harris.
Sylvia is survived by her mother, Marie Wells and her husband Lewis of Dover; four brothers, Terry Murray of Dover, James Nelson of Dover, Bruce Harris of Felton and Glen Harris of Felton; six sisters, Stacey Steven and her husband Judges of Dover, Darlene Murry of Dover, Charlene Murry of Dover, Josephine Tatman and her husband James of Dover, Delores Harris and her husband Larry of Willow Grove and Maggie Wilkerson of Woodside; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and lots of loving friends.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, where friends may call two hours before services.
Burial will be in Barratt's Chapel Cemetery, Frederica.
Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to the funeral home to help with expenses.
