Sybil Gooden-Harvey, 54 DOVER - Sybil Gooden-Harvey, of Dover, died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, in Christina Care Health Services Hospital in Newark, surrounded by her children. Ms. Gooden-Harvey loved and cared for her family and friends above all else. She also enjoyed gardening and making stained glass. Ms. Gooden-Harvey worked in retail most of her life and recently owned the A-Plus Learning Shop in Dover. She was an active member in her community and her congregation at Christ Episcopal Church. Ms. Gooden-Harvey will be greatly missed by the many lives she touched. She was born on Dec. 21, 1953, in Dover, to the late John Herman and Emily Jacqueline Turpin Gooden. Ms. Gooden-Harvey is survived by three children, Ashlell Harvey, 25, of Baltimore, Md., Emily Harvey, 18, of Dover, and Jonathan Harvey, 14, of Dover; a sister, Faith and her husband Glenn Twiss of Newburgh, Ind.; niece Shelley Moore of Newburgh, Ind.; nephew Robin Twiss San Diego, Calif; a great-niece Haley Moore; and a great-nephew Trey Moore both of Newburgh, Ind. A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Christ Episcopal Church, S. State and Water St. in Dover. Burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donation to Christ Episcopal Church P.O. Box 1374, Dover, Del. Arrangements by Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus St., Dover, Del.
