Sue Carol Wilson, 72

DOVER - Sue Carol Wilson, 72, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Sept. 2, 1937, in Tollesboro, Ky., daughter of the late John and Sydna (Boyd) Harrison. Sue had worked as an interior decorator for Danneman's and later enjoyed life as a homemaker. She enjoyed painting, interior design, and being around her grandchildren. Sue was a member of the Century Club of Dover, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, KGH Junior Board Volunteer, Officer's Wives Club, and was a Church Deacon and Sunday School Teacher at First Baptist Church of Dover. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a beloved sister, Janet; and a grandson. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Bill Wilson; her children, Jilana Wilson, Lisa Jump (Harold), Melanie Peterson (Doug), Anne Kitchen, and Dr. Rob Wilson, Jr. (Millie); two half sisters, Maria and Chelie; and a niece, Victoria; 16 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many beloved family members and friends. Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31, at the First Southern Baptist Church, 761 S. Little Creek Rd., Dover. Burial will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to First Southern Baptist Church, The Gideons International, Central Delaware Camp, P.O. Box 622, Dover, DE 19903 or a charity of your choice.
