Sue Arment-Greigg, 56

CLAYTON - Sue Arment-Greigg, of Clayton, passed away at home surrounded by the ones who love her on Monday, March 3, 2008. She was 56.

Mrs. Arment-Greigg was born March 29, 1951, in Dover, to late Edward and Virgie (Lane) Alexander.

Mrs. Arment-Greigg was a line worker for General Motors in Wilmington, for 21 years before retirement.

Her hobbies included decorating and fishing.

She had a particular fondness for caring for the elderly and volunteering at area senior centers.

Despite her illness and times of struggle she found strength in being a grandmother and always found a way to set aside her pain and discomfort in helping and caring for others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Ralph Alexander.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth G. Greigg; two sons, Brandon Eugene Arment and his wife Jaime and their daughter Lacey of Townsend, and Keith David Greigg of Newark; two brothers, Norman Alexander of Clayton and James Alexander of Kenton; six sisters, Brandy "Marie" Fearn of North Ft. Myers, Fla., Elizabeth Kelly of Jacksonville, Fla., Margaret Alexander and Jane Clark, both of Smyrna, and Lee Alexander and Laura Hindt, both of Clayton; her dearest friend, Mary Arment of Townsend; and her sisters-in-law, Sandy Greigg Dunson of Cleveland, Tenn., and Susan Ralston of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Services will be noon Friday in the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 11 a.m.

Burial will be in Drawyers Cemetery, Odessa.
