Steven Wayne Blessing, Steven Wayne Blessing passed away on August 18, 2021 at home after a long battle with cancer. He was born September 19, 1953 in Milford, Del., son of P. Clifford and Jean (Hitchens) Blessing. After receiving a degree in Retail Management from Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, Calif. he worked as an associate, manager, and buyer at numerous businesses in California, Delaware and Maryland. He was passionate about history, art, architecture, and religions, and was active in many church committees. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Ronnie. He is survived by his sister, Donna Lee Hilbert (Jay) of Owings Mills, Md.; and sister-in-law, Melissa Blessing of Harrington, Del.; nephew, Dale Blessing of Felton, Del.; nieces, Julie Watson (Larry) of Lincoln, Del., Lauren Dukes of Harrington, Del., Kellie Yeager (Thomas) of Harrington, Del., Kristine Hilbert of Owings Mills, Md.; great nephews, Rhett Watson, Dylan Dukes, Brady Dukes; great niece, Ellie Watson; and maternal uncle, Robert Hitchens (Charlotte) of Elkton, Md. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 1 p.m. at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery in Frederica, Delaware. A memorial service will be held in Reisterstown at a later date. Arrangements by Eline Funeral Home, Reisterstown, Md.
