Steven Alan Warren, 67
Felton - Steven Alan Warren, passed away peacefully at his home on February 10, 2023 at the age of 67. Mr. Warren was born on October 11, 1955, in Milford, Delaware, son of Robert D. and Mamie A. Warren. He is survived by his wife Kay Warren.
Mr. Warren was a lifelong resident of Kent County and shared 41 years of marriage with his wife. He attended Caesar Rodney High School while playing center fielder for the high school baseball team. He also enjoyed playing in the Camden-Wyoming Little League. During his teenage years and shortly thereafter he began working alongside his dad in construction. Most of his 34-year career involved working with the City of Dover and several electric power companies who managed the McKee Run Generating Station (Dover Power Plant) until retirement in 2015.
Steve loved his family, Philadelphia sports, golf cart rides with the grandchildren, and regularly visiting the Delaware beaches. Being at the beach with his family was his favorite pastime. Some of his passions included listening to music, playing keyboard and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Warren.
He is survived by his wife Kay Warren, two daughters, Amanda Towers and husband Alex of Greenwood, Lindsey Pratts and husband Caleb of Vineland, NJ; his grandchildren: Isla Pratts, Raelyn Towers and Axel Warren Towers. He is survived by his siblings Robert Warren and Debra of Fountain Hills, AZ; John Warren of Dover, Louise Glanden and Jimmy of Felton and Russell Warren of Frederica.
The family will receive visitors at Rogers Funeral Home, 301 Lakeview Avenue, Milford on Friday 2/17, from 11:00 a.m., with a celebration of life at 12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Milford Community Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donating to a favorite charity in honor of Mr. Warren.
