DAGSBORO - Stephanie Yvonne (Walters) Copes, of Dagsboro, departed this life on Sunday, June 8, 2008, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 36.
Stephanie, affectionately known as "Fatz," was born on Jan. 22, 1972, in Lewes to Roy and Francis Walters.
She married Michael Anthony Copes on Jan. 13, 2001. They were blessed with one son and two daughters, Jabriel Walters, Shyde Walters, and Cheyqueta Walters.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Francis Walters; one brother, Roy Walters Jr.; and her grandparents, Fred and Willie Mae Weatherly.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three sisters and one brother, Brenda Graves (Leroy), Francis Weatherly, Antonio Walters, and Lenise Walters; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Christ Church, Harbeson, where friends may call two hours prior.
Family and friends may also call from 6-8 p.m. today in Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Millsboro.
Burial will be in Christ Church Cemetery, Harbeson.
