Sophia Wilson-Cameron, 42 DOVER - Sophia Wilson-Cameron, died Sunday, December 27, 2009, at her mother's home. She was 42. Sophia was born July 19, 1967 in Dover, to Hattie L. Wilson and Willie Wilson. She worked as a teller for Dover Federal Credit Union Bank in Dover. Sophia enjoyed swimming, watching classical movies, music, dancing, roller skating, and went camping for the first time this summer and realized how much she loved it. Sophia on balance lived with the adage "live life to it's fullest". She eased this philosophy with a catalyst nuance that is perfectly described in this excerpt from the anonymous 1920's inscription of the "Desiderata": …You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive him to be, and whatever your labor and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. …and so she did. Sophia is survived by her mother, Hattie Wilson of Dover; her husband of five years, Donald Cameron of Dover; and her brother, Albert Wilson of Dover. Memorial services will be held 11:30 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2010 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to any noted cancer association of your choice. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at
