SIDNEY R. BEIGHLE DOVER - Sidney R. Beighle, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, July 29th, 2008, in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown, Pa., after a short illness. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty J. Beighle; stepson, Dr. Donald R. McCoy and three brothers. He was born in Winchester, Ohio in 1926 to the late William Henry Beighle and Anna Rebecca Robinson. Mr. Beighle is survived by three children, Gary Jonah, of Wash., Susan Gaudet, of Wash., and Tracy Jonah, of Calif. and five step children, Suzanne L. Smith, of Wilmington, Cynthia Bernard of Australia, Andrew L. McCoy, of Smyrna, Patricia D. LeVan of Perkasie, Pa., and Lisa C. Jones of Dover. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph Beighle of Ohio, and a sister, Dorothy Martin of Fla. Mr. Beighle was a veteran in the WW II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. He enjoyed card games, puzzles, and baseball and was an avid eco recycler. Services will be private and internment will be 10 a.m. in the Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Bear. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
