Shirley Ann Burris

Shirley gained her angel wings on February 11, 2022. She passed away at her sister's home. Shirley fell ill January 19, 2022, and this illness is what caused her to gain her angel wings so young.
She attended Caesar Rodney School. Shirley worked at the Valero in Camden for many years, working her way up to Assistant Manager until her illness. She had met many friends and carried these friendships over the years. She loved her customers so much along with her coworkers. Shirley also worked a short time at Walmart in Cheswold, Del.
Shirley enjoyed spending time at the beach with loved ones and also going shopping.
Shirley loved her daughter and family so much, especially her grandbabies.
Shirley was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ann Burris; sister, Beverly Ann LePore. She is survived by her daughter, Ashley (Phillip) Messick; grandchildren, Bentley, Miles, and Remi Ann; her father, Robert T. Burris, Sr. and his significant other Carolyn Haass; sister, Doris Ann (Robert "Jay") Adams; brother, Robert "Bobby" (Carolyn) Burris, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Lindsay (Jessy) Adams, Zachary LePore (Robert Nichols), Robert "Rob" (Nikki) Burris III, Kelsey (Mike) Wilson, Tristan Burris. Shirley also is survived by many great nieces and nephews and cousins. Shirley is also survived by her long time significant other, Lance Pritchett.
Services will be Friday February 18, 2022, at Pippin Funeral Home in Camden, Delaware. Viewing will begin at 11 a.m. with services beginning at 12 p.m.
Intermit will be at Sharon Hill Cemetery in Dover, Delaware.
