Sheila Teresa Lee Scott, 48 CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Sheila Teresa Lee Scott, of Chestertown, died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at Chester River Hospital. She was 48. She was born May 17, 196, to the late Mary Jean Kennard Lee and John Henry Lee. Sheila was educated in Kent County Public Schools. She graduated from Kent County High School in 1979. At an early age she joined Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church in Melitota. Sheila worked for Allen Family Foods in Cordova for several years. She enjoyed all sports, especially football. She also enjoyed reading and watching westerns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her uncle, Wayne Blake Sr.; and her aunt, Mary Lee "Sis." She leaves to mourn a devoted husband of eight years, George T. Scott of Chestertown; daughter, Latoya Hawkins; son, Anthony Hawkins Jr., both of Rock Hall; a loving mother-in-law, Hattie Johnson; five sisters, Pamela Saunders, Cheryl Rochester (Conrad), Brenda Isaacs (Franklin), all of Chestertown, Linda Brown (Bernard) of Decatur, Ga., and Frances Lee of Dallas, Ga.; four sisters-in-law, Betty, Brenda, Cindy and Judy; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church, Melitota, where friends may view two hours prior. Burial will be private. Arrangements by Bennie Smith Funeral Home.
