DOVER - Sharyn Lynn Morris, 66, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center, after a long illness. Sharyn was born June 8, 1944, in Akron, Ohio, daughter of the late Horace and Helen Hunt. Sharyn retired in March 2010 from the Health Care Center at Christiana after 20 years of service. Prior to that, she had worked for the Delaware State News, Milford Memorial Hospital, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware. In April 2010, Sharyn became a resident of State Street Assisted Living where she was lovingly cared for by their exceptional staff. She was also a client with Delaware Hospice and was blessed by their loving care and support. Sharyn is survived by a stepdaughter, Krista Holloway, her husband, Mark and their son Brad of Dover; a sister, Barbara Roudebush and her husband Travis of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; two nieces, Pam Weber of Barberton, Ohio, and Tina Roudebush of Stow, Ohio; and two very special great-nephews, Heath and Nathaniel Weber. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, at Lakeside Cemetery, 558 N. State St., Dover. Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions in Sharyn's name to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Hwy., Dover, DE 19901. Letters of condolence can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com.
