ELLENDALE - Sharon Short Pugh died Wed., July 31, 2013 at home. She is the daughter of the late James and Virginia Gillespie Pugh. She was a homemaker and loved watching game shows and playing cards. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, crabbing and going to the beach. She also enjoyed sitting on the porch. She was preceded in death by her siblings Cheryl Walker and Raymond Pugh. She is survived by three sons, Shawn Combs, Jeff Short and wife Jessica and Kyle Short and wife Nicole Larnick; also four grandchildren, Kylie and Harper Short, Kaitlyn and Olivia Combs; and best friend Robert Cooper. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, Milford, where friends may call for 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a viewing. Interment will be McColley's Church Cemetery, Georgetown, DE.
