Sharon M. Berghorn

SMRYNA - Sharon M. Berghorn, recently of Dover, passed away Mon. Mar. 23, 2015. Mrs. Berghorn was born Nov. 20, 1939 in Clark, S.D. to the late, Kenneth Schulz and Mildred Moree Schulz. She worked as a Senior Accountant for Delaware Hospital for the Chronically Ill from 1969 to 1991, and after her retirement she went back for a couple more years. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, David C. Harrison Post in Smyrna. Mrs. Berghorn enjoyed crocheting, books, reading, puzzles but especially helping and staying in touch with family. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Berghorn, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Tina Falcone Bonovich and partner, Michael Lipko of Dover; son, Christopher "Johnny" Falcone and his wife Cassandra of Twinsburg, Ohio; sisters, Janice Nohr of Crofton, NE, Sandra Hansen and her husband, John of Northeast, Md., Dawn Sommers and her husband, Brendan of South Bound Brook, N.J.; grandchildren, Cassandra Bonovich Massey, Kenneth Bonovich and his wife, Felicia, Kyle Lipko and his Fiancé, Tia Needles, Tami Lipko Morris and her husband, Robert; great-grandchildren, Kameron, Charlie, Tymber, Autumn, Kailey, Brendan and Hadley; several nieces; nephews; and friends. A visitation will be held from 6-8PM, Mar. 26, 2015, Thurs. evening at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963 - www.delawarehospice.org Letters of condolences may be sent and guest book signed at www.torbertfuneral.com
