Haldeman, 41 SMYRNA - Sharon Lynn Haldeman, of Smyrna was called Home suddenly to be with the Lord on January 26, 2016. She was 41 years old. Sharon was born on January 12, 1975 in Camden, New Jersey. She was preceded in death by her mom, Tamara; and her grandparents. Sharon attended school in Washington Township, New Jersey. After graduating high school, she proudly served her country in the United States Navy for four years. She worked at various places, until she found her greatest calling in life as a Mom. Sharon was a member at Faith Community Church, where she served as a Sunday school teacher for the 2 and 3 year olds. Sharon was very creative, and enjoyed painting, drawing, coloring and writing poetry. She was also a history buff and had a passion for historic homes and places. This lead to her volunteering time at Belmont Hall. She treated strangers as friends. Within minutes of meeting her it felt as if you had known her forever. She liked to cook, bake and be surrounded by friends. Throughout her life, she gave of herself generously and that continued in her passing. As an organ donor, she was able to give the gift of life to others. Through that gift, her memory will live on. Above all else, Sharon will be remembered as a devoted wife and mother. Sharon leaves behind her loving husband, Daniel; five children, Chrystina Marie, Katrina Ann, Melissa Lynn, Elizabeth Tammy, and Autumn Lorraine; father, Kenneth Zeigler; two brothers, Kenneth and Timothy Zeigler; an extended family, and large circle of friends. An evening viewing will take place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Delaware 19934. Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Faith Community Church, Camden. Friends may gather one hour prior. Final resting place will be Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her honor can be sent to Faith Community Church, P.O. Box One, 2240 S. DuPont Hwy., Camden, DE 19934, or the Sarasota Dolphin Research Program, c/o Mote Marine Laboratory, 1600 Thompson Parkway, Sarasota, FL 34236 Letters of condolences can be sent via www.pippinfuneralhome.com
