FREDERICA - Shannon Rene LeDuc, of Frederica, has gone home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Monday, Sept. 12, 2011, at Christiana Care surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Cystic Fibrosis. She was 26. Shannon was born in Milford, on Feb. 14, 1985, the daughter of Donald L. LeDuc and Marsha Betts LeDuc of Frederica. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, and family especially her nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is survived by five siblings, Leo LeDuc of Arlington, Va., Amy Kouse and husband Michael of Camden, Bobbie LeDuc of Seaford, Luke LeDuc and his wife Terilyn of Lancaster, Pa., and Tracy Durham of Frederica; nieces and nephews, extended family, friends; and a special friend, Nick Austin. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St., Greenwood, where family and friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment will be held at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to: Adult Cystic Fibrosis Program, c/o Christiana Care Health System, PO Box 1668, Wilmington, DE 19899.
