HEBRON, Md. - Sara M. Whayland, 89, of Hebron, died Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. She is survived by a son, Barry Whayland and his wife Shirley; a daughter, Sue Dailey; son-in-law, Ronnie Dailey; three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers-in-law, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service was held 6 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 26, at Nelsons Memorial Church in Hebron, where friends called from 4 to 6 p.m. Rev. Jim Riley officiated.
