Hartnett-Lucas, 43 DOVER - Sandra Jane Hartnett-Lucas passed away suddenly at her home in Dover, on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012. She was 43. She was born Dec. 18, 1968, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Teresa Jane Spivey and Edward M. Hartnett of Dover. Sandi was a homemaker who enjoyed children. She enjoyed working with children, and helping them with arts and crafts. She was proud to have participated in a reading program for children at the Clayton Elementary School. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Geneva Hartnett. In addition to her father, she is survived by her two children, Morgan Ashley and Jacob Brandon Lucas; step-mother, Bobbie Hartnett; sisters, Sara Beth Dilorenzo, Geneva M. Deutschmann, and Grace Elaine Trotter; and a brother, Frankie Spivey. Services will be 6 p.m., Monday, March 5, 2012, at Faries Funeral Home of Smyrna, where friends may call at 4 p.m. Burial will be privately held.
