Sandra Devine, God called her home on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022 at Bayhealth Hospital Kent Campus. Daughter of the late James R. Devine and Arlene R. Devine, Sandy was born July 8, 1958 in Salina, Kansas.
In addition to her parents; Sandy was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jimmy Green; and nephew, Michael Devine.
Sandy was a graduate of Dover High School. She studied Pre-Vet medicine at Delaware State University. Sandy worked 4 years at the SPCA and was a Lab Technician at Dade Bering. She then went to Standard Chlorine as a lab tech until leaving on disability.
Sandy had a great sense of humor which always brought smiles and laughter to those around her. She had a no-nonsense way about her but she also had a big heart especially for all her 4 legged children.
Sandy's memory will be forever cherished by her siblings and nieces and nephews. Tom Devine (Kelly, Denise, Lincoln, Melissa, Navin, Mia), Steve Devine (Ann, Sara, Sean, Preston, Stephen, Tonda, Madelaine, Arthur, Ireland, Brody, Patrick), Debby Green (Jennifer, Ian, Elizabeth, Jimmy, Maren) Jim Devine (Debbie K., Carissa, Tom, Leah, Thomas) Jamie, Cole, Lane, Ty, Clayton (Heather, Cameron, Owen, Deanna, Kellam, Amanda, Russ, Parker, Sawyer, Andrew, Santi Marie, Sophia, Luca, Morgan, Josh).
