MILFORD - Samuel Jerome Blackston went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, March 15, 2014. Sam had worked as the assistant director for Fellowship Health Resources, in Georgetown, for 7 years. He was also a licensed psychologist and case worker. He was a very civic minded individual, and belonged to several organizations at U.M.E.S., in Princess Ann, and also at Delaware State University. He is survived by his parents, Samuel and Eloise( Hobbs) Blackston, of Milford; two brothers, Tyrone N. Blackston and his friend, Vera Williams, of Dover; and Aaron Blackston, of Roselle, N.J.; four aunts, Leah Johnson, of Dover; Virginia Felton and her husband Joseph, of Greenwood; Jerlene Battle, of Greenwood; and Ina Hobbs, of Roselle, N.J.; and a host of cousins, and many, many, friends. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Friday, March 21, 2014, in St. Paul United Methodist Church, 300 North St., Milford, DE; where family and friends may view from 9 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Milford Community Cemetery, Milford.
