MILTON - Sally Louise Short, of Milton, passed away on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Harbor Healthcare in Lewes. She was 69. Sally was born in Lewes, the daughter of the late Clarence L. Rust, Sr. and Edith M. (Toomey) Rust. She worked at Burris Foods for 44 years. She loved to cook and travel. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, Norman and Herman Rust; and a sister, Margaret Rust. She is survived by her companion of 22 years, Harley "Beef" Wilson of Georgetown; a son, Timothy Short of Milton; two sisters, Mary Ann Terry and her husband Leonard, Jr. of Miss., Florence Ellen Franklin of Bishopville, Md.; one brother, Clarence C. Rust of Dagsboro; and two grandchildren, T.J. Short and Tristen Short. Funeral Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, July 14, 2011, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in Millsboro Cemetery, Millsboro.
