MILLSBORO - S. Preston English of Millsboro died Monday, Jan. 15, 2007, in his home. He was 81.
He owned S.P. English well drilling and farmed.
Mr. English loved his animals, cows and dairy operation. He was devoted to his family especially his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stansbury Phillip and Sabra Cathryn (Mears) English; and a sister, Clara Belle Messick.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Sarah (Twitchell) English; three sons and three daughters-in-law, Robert A. and Sandra English of Snow Hill, Md., John R. and Bonnie English of Centerville, Md., and Kenneth and Charlene Vigue of Hallsville, Ky.; two daughters, Carla Willey of Laurel and Martha Stevenson of Georgetown; two nephews, Phillip Messick and Joshua Messick, both of Millsboro; a niece, Hilda Jane Johnson of Millsboro; 16 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Patriots Way, Millsboro. The Rev. Joe Roszin will officiate.
Burial will be in the cemetery.
Arrangements by Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro.
