LEWES - Ruth Miller Fogg, a resident of Lewes since 1986, entered into eternal peace early Christmas morning in Beebe Medical Center at the age of 90. Ruth was born in Bridgeton, N.J., the daughter of the late Edward S. and Irma Miller Fogg. Her life's journey took her to Pennsylvania and then to Delaware. She was employed as the personnel manager for F. & W. Woolworth Stores in Bridgeton, N.J., and King of Prussia, Pa., retiring in 1980 after 42 years of service. Ruth had been a member of the Coolspring Presbyterian Church and more recently attended religious services at Lewes Presbyterian Church and Cadbury nursing facility. She was a long-time resident of Huling Cove and enjoyed her years as a member of the Henlopen Senior Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a nephew, Edward H Fogg; and her two brothers, William Fogg, who died in childhood, and Edward C Fogg, who passed six months ago. Ruth is survived by her nephew, Eric Fogg and his wife Janet of Harbeson; a niece, Ellen Holtz and her husand Brian of Bethlehem, Pa.; and a great niece, Diana Fogg of Salisbury,Md. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at 11 a.m. at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 301 King Charles Ave., Rehoboth. Arrangements handled by Short Funeral Services, Milton.
