Ruth H. Scotten, 90
Ruth H. Scotten passed away peacefully Friday, July 8, 2022 at her home. Ruth was born November 22, 1931 in Felton, Del.
Along with her parents; Ruth was predeceased by her husband, John "Ronald" (2016); and a sister, Ellen.
She is survived by her daughters, Shelby Niezgoda (Jeff) of Hartly, Del. and Rhonda "Ronnie" Agostinelli (Mark) of Chesapeake, Va.; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Faulkner of Tallahassee, Fla. and Shirley Wilson of Harrington, Del.; many nieces and nephews; and her "dumpalou" constant companion furbaby dog, Sophie.
A very special thank you to her nurses and team from Season's Hospice and especially to her main caregiver, Chrissie Rigby, without whom mom would not have been able to remain home or enjoy her last two years as she did.
As she wished, services will be private.
She would be honored to know that a donation was made to a favorite animal shelter or rescue group in her name, or to Season's Hospice.
