Ruth A. Reese, 83 FELTON - Ruth A. Reese, age 83, of Felton, passed away Friday, Nov. 20, 2009, at Bayhealth-Milford Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Reese was born in Felton, the daughter of the late Vaughn V. and Minnie (Hammond) Austin. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Frank D. Reese in 1977. She is survived by two children, James Reese and his wife Michele of East Peoria, Ill., and Jeanne M. Carter of Felton; three grandchildren, Brian and Kasey Carter and Michael Reese; and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 24, in the Chapel of Berry - Short Funeral Home, Main Street, Felton. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Barratts Chapel, Frederica. The Rev. Milton Kemp will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contribution to a charity of your choice.
