Roxie Purnell, 87
MILFORD - Roxie Purnell of Milford passed away peacefully Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007, in Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Md. She was 87.
Mrs. Purnell was born June 11, 1919, in Berlin, daughter of the late Elijah and Eliza Purnell.
She was a happy person with a sweet spirit and enjoyed people and being a blessing to others whenever she could.
Mrs. Purnell was a loyal and active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, where she served on the usher board.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings, Charlie Mason, Crystal Purnell, Lillian Weight, Blanche Briddell and Elizabeth Foreman.
She is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be 12:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 300 North St., Milford, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Ironshire, Md.
