Rosemary Riebel

GEORGETOWN - Rosemary Riebel, formerly of Bridgewater, N.J., passed away on Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Rosemary was born in Clayton, N.J., the daughter of the late Archibald and Rosanna (Corsiglia) Murphy. She worked in admissions for the Luritan Valley Comm. Co. She was in the Philadelphia Orchestra Choir directed by Eugene Ormandy. She enjoyed crocheting, talking and music. She enjoyed being with her family and was a loving grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry in 1994. She is survived by her children, Jacqueline Samara and husband John, Linda Nitahara and Cindy Riebel; three sisters, Jean Lowrance, Dolores Cordetti and Alfreda Witkowski; one brother, Louis Murphy; five grandchildren, Douglas Lester and his wife Susan, Kristina Garrett, Allia Riebel, Ashley Nitahara and Caitlyn Nitahara; and two great-grandchildren, Lily Lester and Sami Williams. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 pm Sunday, August 12, 2012, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE. Graveside Services will be held at noon Monday, August 13, 2012, at Cedar Green Cemetery, 251 E. Academy St., Clayton, N.J. 08312. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
