Milford - Ronald K. "Ron" Quent passed away on Friday, March 27, 2015 at home. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of the late Frank and Helen Wiatrowska Quent. In addition to his parent's he was preceded in death by his brother Edward. Ron was a US Veteran serving in the US Army in Vietnam. He worked for the automotive industry for most of his life. He enjoyed watching Baltimore Orioles, playing cards and cruises. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Jeannie, who was always at his side. Also, four daughters, Heather and husband, Drew Turnbow, Cheryl, Wendy and husband, Chris Derby and , Stephany and husband, Michael Barker; a sister, Lucille; and loving grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, De, where friends may call from 10:30 to 11:30 for a viewing. Interment will be De Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro, Delaware.
