SMYRNA - Robert I. McCormick passed away on Mar. 6, 2016. Born in Maple Shade, N.J., Robert loved his family, church and his automobiles. He served 9 years in the National Guard in New Jersey and Delaware. He was a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Dover. He is survived by his wife Roberta of 64 years; four children; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded by two sons. A visitation will be held on Saturday, Mar. 12, 2016 at 10 am in St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 425 North DuPont Highway in Dover. Memorial services will begin at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 425 North DuPont Highway, Dover, DE 19901.
