Robert F. "Bob" Lightcap Sr., 74

LINCOLN - Robert F. "Bob" Lightcap Sr. of Lincoln passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at home. He was 74.

Mr. Lightcap was born and raised in Sanatoga, Pa., son of the late Walter M. and Deborah (Zimmerly) Lightcap.

He worked for Pottstown Machine Co. for 49 years.

Mr. Lightcap retired to Lincoln in 1989.

He belonged to the Lower Pottsgrove Sportsman Association, the West End Fire Co. in Pottstown, Pa., the Moose Lodge, Elks Lodge and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in Milford.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wallace H. Lightcap; and a son-in-law, Sylvester A. McKenrick.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Elizabeth (Gehris) Lightcap of Lincoln; his children, Mary E. McKenrick, Virginia A. "Ginny" Moser and her husband Alfred D., Robert F. Whitecap Jr. and his wife Lisa, Karen L. Perillo and her husband Anthony, and Sarah K. "Sally" Day and her husband Randy; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947.

Arrangements handled by Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford.
