Robert Dale Rush

GREENWOOD - Robert (Bob) Dale Rush passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2017 at his home in Greenwood, after battling cancer, with his girlfriend Bonnie Pace by his side.
He was born Oct. 12, 1944 in Greensberg, Pa.
Bob was a proud marine and a disabled Vietnam veteran earning several medals including the purple heart. He loved his computer games and his favorite past time was playing golf. He was known for his quirky smile and words of encouragement. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and Herman Rush; his wife, Patricia (Pat) Rush; his son, Timothy (Timmy) Richardson; his sister, Sarah (Sally) Stoll; his nephew, Scott Rush; and his granddaughter, Cassidy Stinton.
Bob is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Mickey) Stinton and her husband Shannon; his brothers, William (Bill) Rush, David Rush and his wife Betty, Eddie Rush and his wife Linda; his sister, Nancy Cavey; several nieces and nephews, many grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, Dec. 29, 2017 at 12 p.m. at the Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, DE 19950. A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Interment with military honors will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2018, 2 p.m. at Eastern Shore Veteran Cemetery, 6827 E. New Market Ellwood Road, Hurlock, MD 21643.
