DOVER - Robert "Bob" Berry Tack Jr., died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2008. He was 50. Bob was born in Easton, Md. on Oct. 19, 1958. He was the son of the late Robert Berry Tack Sr. and Joan Caulk Tack. He was by trade an electrician and most recently employed by Danny Zimmerman as a truck driver. Bob was a member of the American Legion, Walter L. Fox Post 2. He was in the United States Coast Guard in the late 70's. Bob was a loving and caring person who will be missed by all who knew him; we will especially miss his infectious laughter. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, playing poker, and going to Dover Downs Slots. He is survived by three sisters, Kate (Jerry) Painkin, Bonnie Ingram, and Holly (Blake) Scott; four nieces, Tonia, Betsy, Casey, and Samantha; and four nephews, Jeremy, Blake Jr., Tyler, and Kyle. A memorial service will be 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 24, 2008 at the American Legion, Walter L. Fox Post 2, Dover. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mr. Tack's name may be made to the Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover, DE 19904, to help defray funeral expenses. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at www.torbertfuneral.com.
