Rita Jane Caldwell

SMYRNA - Rita Jane Caldwell passed away at home surrounded by family and loved ones on Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015. She was born Jan. 29, 1940 in Burrisville, Md., the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Collison. She was a loving mother and a proud member of the Camden-Wyoming Women of the Moose #1546 for 48 years. She held the degree of College of Regent and Star Recorder in the chapter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Givenni; her brothers, Bill, Lawrence and Albert Collison; and her granddaughter, Karla Givenni. She is survived by her husband Pop Caldwell; her son, Michael Givenni, Sr.; her daughter, Robin Beatty and her husband Douglas; her son, John "Jack" Caldwell and his wife Renee; four grandchildren, Michael P. Givenni, Jr., Ashley Mae Caldwell, JC Caldwell and his wife Paige and Jeffrey Quigley; eight great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Tootsie Moore, Anna Caldwell, Etta Mae Oehler and her husband Fred and Dorothy Lee Collison; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. A viewing will be held on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. Burial will follow in Templeville Cemetery. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
