Dover - Richard Lee Jacobs, Jr passed away Friday March 27, 2015 He was born on Feb. 16, 1971 in Dover. Richardgraduated from Wesley College. He served in the Army and is a veteran of Desert Storm. He was employed at Mama Maria Italian Restaurant in Milford, Del. He is survived by his parents, Susan and Gregory Payton, of Dover and Richard, Sr. and Cathy Jacobs of Clayton; step daughter, Riley LaBier; brother, Robert and wife, Amy of Selbyville and their children, Anthony and Alexis; step sister, Linda Hetteroth of Dover; aunts and uncles, Judy (LeRoy) Jarman of Wyoming, Robert (Lisa) Werkheiser, Little River, Ala., Peggy Trace, Tammy Jacobs, Carole (Rick) Miller, and J.R. Jacobs, all of Hagerstown, Md., Faye Tally (Dave) of Camden; and several cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Mandy Brown Jacobs. Services will be Sat. April 4, at 1 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church 113 Lotus St. Dover, DE The family request that memorial contributions be given in lieu of flowers.
