Richard Delano Hughes, 75
FREDERICA - Richard Delano Hughes, of Frederica, formerly of Baltimore, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 14, 2008. He was 75.
He was born in Jefferson, Ohio, son of the late Dwight and Estella (Rogers) Hughes.
He served with the U.S. Navy and was a governmental contractual engineer for NASA.
Richard loved to raise standardbred horses and was an accomplished tournament bowler.
He is survived by a son, Richard D. Hughes; three daughters, Sheryl A. Hughes, Teresa R. Hughes and Patricia M. Avery; and three grandchildren, Rennae Gay, Brittany Brewer and Dalton Avery.
He will be dearly missed.
Services were private.
