Richard Allen Greulich

Greulich, 79 MILFORD - Richard Allen Greulich, of Milford, passed away on May 4, 2012, at Kent General Hospital. Richard was the son of the late Linwood Paul and Elizabeth (Munsberger) Greulich. After graduating high school, he entered the U.S. Army and served in Alaska. Mr. Greulich graduated from Philadelphia School of Pharmacy in 1954. He was a lifelong pharmacist. He was very active in the Calvary United Methodist Church in Milford, serving in many capabilities where he will be missed by many. His special interests were history and teaching bible studies. He also enjoyed attending the University of Delaware football games. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Annie Lee Strahle Jackson Greulich; brother, Robert and wife Peggy Greulich of Walnut Creek, Calif.; nephew, David Greulich of Lodi, Calif.; niece, Elizabeth Schaub of Austin, Texas; stepson, William A. Strahle and wife Patricia of Milford; step-grandson, Don W. and wife Susan; and step-great granddaughter, Elizabeth Strahle of Glen Alen, Va. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 10, 2012, in the Chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be held at Milford Community Cemetery, Milford, DE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: Calvary U.M. Church, 301 S.E. Front St., Milford, DE 19963.
