Nickie A. Bell
Born in Atlanta, GA in 1947, departed this life on April 12, 2024 at the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford, Delaware.
Nickie was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Lawrence; her mother, Mary Steed Lawrence; and her brothers, Mitchell Lawrence and Jarell Lawrence.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dr. Kenneth Bell; her daughter, Nicole Bell; and a stepdaughter, Michellene (Ronald) Griffin-Ballard. She is also survived by her brothers, Steve (Sidonie) Lawrence and Mark (Kemiko) Lawrence; one brother-in-law, Dwight Bell; and a host of nieces and nephews. They will never forget the love and happiness that she brought to their lives.
A Celebration of Life service with military honors will be held at 11am Monday, April 22, 2024 at the Wyoming United Methodist Church, 216 Wyoming Mills Road, Dover, DE. A Public Viewing will be held 9-10:30am. The Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. Ivy Beyond the Wall service will be held at 10:30am.
