Raymond J.Johnson, 89

LEWES - Raymond J. Johnson of rural Lewes, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away at this home Monday, Oct. 22, 2007. He was 89.

He was born in Philadelphia, son of the late Ollie and Mary (Fane) Johnson.

Mr. Johnson was a retired plumber.

Raymond was a veteran of World War II, serving with the U.S. Army Air Corps.

He was a member of American Legion Post 28 of Oak Orchard/Riverdale, and the Angola By the Bay Mens Club and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Association.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Helen (Davison) Johnson; and a daughter, Donna Rae Johnson.

Services will be private.

Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services of Long Neck.
