LAUREL - Raymond Francis Stevens, 81, of Laurel, passed away on Dec. 2, 2010, at Atlantic Shores Nursing Home in Millsboro. Ray was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., a son of the late Raymond R. and Mary Ellen O'Shea Stevens. Mr. Stevens is survived by his son, Raymond M. Stevens and wife Joyce of Laurel; and a daughter, Carol Ann Wilmuth and husband Andrew of Gastonia, N.C.. His wife Birdie Stevens precedes him in death. A Graveside service were held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel on Tuesday Dec. 7, 2010, at 11 a.m., where he received full military honors. Arrangements were in the care of the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home Laurel.
