Raymond Clark Bell, 45
CLAYTON - Raymond Clark Bell passed away suddenly on Sunday April 25, 2021.
He was born in Dover on June 15, 1975 to Gayle and John Bell. Ray attended Clayton Elementary, Smyrna Middle School, and graduated from Smyrna High School in 1993. He also attended Vo Tech (Kent North) for Auto Mechanics. While in school, he was a member of the wrestling team.
He had many hobbies: fishing, hunting, NASCAR, and fixing cars. He loved playing guitar and drums with his buddies and was a huge Packers fan and an avid classic muscle car and motorcycle enthusiast.
He will be remembered for his contagious laugh. He had many friends who loved him and he cherished them dearly.
He is survived by his mother, Gayle Bartlett; his uncle, Larry Cook Sr.; his former step-father, Wilson Bartlett; two cousins, Larry Cook Jr. and Gary Cook; and his dogs, Blue and Lilly.
Services will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Matthews-Bryson Funeral Home, 123 W. Commerce St., Smyrna, where friends may call at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Smyrna. Please follow Covid-19 guidelines for masks and distancing.
