GEORGETOWN - Raymond C. Lindberg, of Georgetown, formerly of Altoona, Pa., passed away Friday, June 20, 2008, at Harbor Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewes. He was 95.
Mr. Lindberg was born Jan. 15, 1913, in Pennsylvania, son of the late John A. and Hilda (Anderson) Lindberg.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Walter Lindberg; and a sister, Helen Bell.
He is survived by a sister, Esther M. Schafer and her husband Franklin of Bear; four nieces, Nancy, Dorothy and her husband Thomas, Shirley and Lynda and her husband Kumer; two nephews, Franklin and Richard; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, where friends may call one hour prior to the services.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
